Finalists of Senorita Stroll-Off Philanthropy!

On Friday February 24th, a team of eight Pi Phi members competed in Sigma Lambda Alpha's philanthropy, Senorita Stroll-Off. This competition featured several different sororities and fraternities, and each round, every team had to choreograph a stroll and dance set to music. The event consisted of three rounds, with different teams getting cut each round. This year, we're excited to say that Pi Phi was in the finals of the Stroll-Off and did a great job with each different stroll! All of the proceeds raised from this event were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth, which helps mentor, tutor, and collaborate events for kids. Many girls came out to cheer on our team and support Sigma Lambda Alpha, making it a great Friday night for Texas Delta!

Jenny Mason, Former VPC and Panhellenic President, Chosen to be a Pi Phi LDC!!

What are you most excited about being an LDC: I would have to say I am most excited to get the opportunity to meet so many amazing Pi Phi women all across the country. I think I will be inspired by so many of our members and further understand what a great opportunity Pi Beta Phi has given all of us.

What made you want to apply: I applied after seeing the extension presentations this fall on campus. There were so many consultants that spoke for their own NPC organization, and their passion about leadership and their sorority experience was amazing to see.

Why do you love Pi Phi: This is a very hard answer for me to sum up into a few words, however, I know I would not be the woman I am today without Pi Phi. I have grown so much over the past 4 years in my collegiate experience from Pi Phi and the experiences that our chapter has given us. Of course, I have also made amazing lifelong friends who all live up to the same values and love to have fun.

Favorite Pi Phi experiences: I absolutely loved living in the house. Every week we would watch our favorite TV shows together and constantly run to each others rooms to make plans or go grab a bite to eat. It was so fun living within the same house with girls I love to spend time with. Also, I would have to say another favorite experience of mine was coming back to the chapter after serving on the Panhellenic Recruitment Team. I had missed spending recruitment with the chapter so seeing everyone again and celebrating the new members was amazing.
